    function:

    The SAFETY-LOCK BRAKE has many applications where loads must be positioned accurately and held securely. It is used for holding loads which are raised and lowered vertically, and in applications where horizontal traversing stability is desired.

    SAFETY-LOCK permits use of efficient power train design and eliminates the loss of power associated with expensive worm gears used for load holding.
